About me

My passion and first training is as an information designer, so the focus of my work is usually improving the flow of information in healthcare systems.

Outside of work, I love to:

  • Paint portraits
  • Pet my cat
  • Throw the ball for my dog
  • Grow my collection of houseplants
  • Build terrariums
  • Small furniture woodworking
  • Hike and be outdoors
This is me

How I work

I am an inhouse design specialist for healthcare teams, so I look for the common ground between design methods and the more common healthcare improvement methods (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, the IHI Model for Improvement, Knowledge Translation).

Check out some of my work to see how I have made space for design, within the constraints of the healthcare system.

More about me

I hold a master’s degree in Design for Health (MDes) from OCAD University (Toronto, CA), and a bachelor’s degree in information Design (BComm) from Mount Royal University (Alberta, CA).

I have a linkedin that I occasionally use.

Making and creativity is a core part of how I work, and what matters to me as an individual. Take a look at some of my hobby work here.
